Michael Yardley, Chairman of the Crossroads (Cambridge City) Board
of Trustees, received a cheque for £200 from the Cambridge
Students RAG Appeal on 17th June 2006. In recieving the cheque,
Michael said this was much appreciated and that the money would
be used to help fund a pub lunch for clients in the autumn.
Carlton Arms gives joint donation
Terri
and Jethro, Landlord and Landlady of the Carlton Arms, Carlton
Way, presented cheques to Jayne Kalton, Manager of Crossroads
(Cambridge City) and Dennis Cross, Chairman of Cambridge RNLI.
The Carlton Arms raised £600 during their beer festival
held in late June by holding a raffle, tombola and 20p donated
for each beer taster. Crossroads (Cambridge City) and the Royal
National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) are the charities adopted
by the Carlton Arms for this year and shared the money.
Jayne and Dennis thanked Terri and Jethro for their support.
Jayne explained that the money would be used to provide treats
